The new pastry corner at Cactus Milano marks an evolution in the identity of the venue, elegantly distinguishing the bar from the restaurant while maintaining a harmonious connection between the two. Once a discreet corner, this space now becomes the centerpiece of a sweet and innovative experience, thanks to the creativity of pastry chef Eva Galimberti, who has been part of the team since the very beginning.

A Sweet and Artisanal Offering

Cactus Milano has extended its opening hours, welcoming guests from 8 AM. The pastry selection features artisanal creations that are predominantly vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free, made with high-quality alternative ingredients. French pastries, pralines, macarons, cakes, and mignons inspired by seasonality are just some of the available delights. From 10 AM, the offering expands with dishes for a second breakfast or brunch, including eggs, yogurt with muesli, acai bowls, porridge, avocado toast, and pancakes, paired with coffee, fresh juices, and smoothies.

Sweetness That Captivates

The Pastry Lab becomes the beating heart of the new pastry experience. In the afternoon, it transforms into a tea room, perfect for enjoying a sweet break, while in the evening it offers a selection of reinvented classic desserts, such as tarte tatin and vegan panna cotta with fresh persimmons. Additionally, at number 12, Eva Galimberti’s pastry lab invites guests to watch the pastry chef at work, commission personalized cakes, or purchase freshly baked croissants.

Eva Galimberti

Born in Catania in 1992, Eva Galimberti moved to Milan to study economics at Bocconi University. However, just five exams away from graduation, she decided to follow her dream of becoming a pastry chef. After gaining experience at Mudec, the Sicilian pastry shop Ammu, and Charlotte Dusart’s chocolate atelier, she is now the creative soul of the new pastry corner at Cactus Milano. This new space will coexist with the cocktail bar led by bartender Giorgio Riva, where desserts and drinks will alternate to provide guests with an ever-changing and surprising experience.
